A Fairytale Dress for a Fairytale City

Designer Miya, the creative soul behind Rose Island, took us along on a magical journey through Paris — from the glittering halls of the Opéra Garnier to the peaceful gardens of Versailles. Her outfit? The Rose Island July Summer Dress — a limited-edition design inspired by the romantic silhouettes of the Empire era.

With soft puff sleeves, vintage floral lace, delicate pink bows, and a flowing silhouette, this gown reimagines royal elegance for everyday princesses. It’s the perfect dress for museum visits, summer garden walks, dreamy dates, or tea party in palace. 

But this isn’t just a dress. It’s part of a story that began years ago — a story of dreams, craftsmanship, and love.

A Decade of Dreams: The Peiliee x Rose Island Story

PeilieeShop was founded in 2015 with one vision: to share lovingly handmade and uniquely sweet fashion from small designers around the world. Over the years, we’ve come to realize something — many talented young designers remain unseen, not because their work isn’t beautiful, but because they lack the support, exposure, or business infrastructure to keep going.

Like many of them, we’ve had to balance day jobs just to fund our creative dreams. We’ve witnessed passionate creators give up on their brands — not due to lack of talent, but simply because they couldn’t make a living from what they loved.

Brands like ArilfRose, Elf In Our House, Nakiss, and KV72 — all held such beautiful visions, yet faded quietly because they couldn’t sustain the costs of creation.

That’s why PeilieeShop exists. We don’t just sell fashion. We fight for the survival of small, independent artistry — for the dreamers who hand-sew late at night, sketch designs in the margins of their notebooks, and pour their hearts into fabrics and details. We believe these voices deserve to shine. We want them to live off their passion, not in spite of it.

And for that, we have only you — our PeilieeShop community — to thank. Every order placed, every kind message, every share on social media means the world. In 2017, we welcomed a tiny studio brand called 12studio, run by a young dreamer named Miya.

Her designs stood out immediately — soft, whimsical, and full of emotion. Over time, Miya transformed her vision into something even more magical: Rose Island. A brand dedicated to romantic, cotton-based fashion inspired by wandering fairies and soft magic. Her dream? That everyone could find their own “island” — a personal world where they feel beautiful, soft, and free.

The Heart Behind the Brand: Meet Miya

Miya’s passion for fashion started at home. Her mother was a seamstress, and growing up, Miya was surrounded by sewing machines, fabric scraps, and handmade dresses made just for her. That environment gave her a deep appreciation for clothing that is not only beautiful, but personal — filled with love, detail, and story.

Today, Miya continues that legacy by hand-designing pieces that carry softness in every stitch. She hopes her dresses can be little windows into a gentler world — one where every girl can feel cherished, romantic, and wonderfully herself.
