Ever wondered how a Rose Island piece comes to life?
As Rose Island’s long-term official partner, we’re lucky to work closely with the studio Rose Island and Evil Tooth. Not just as the official retailer, but throughout the creative journey. From early ideas to finished garments, here’s a little look behind the scenes.

Design Begins
Every collection starts with a collection topic of the season. Starting with sketches, inspiration boards, and brainstrom ideas.
Designs (Miya is the main designer in Rose Island brand) are discussed, refined, and adjusted until every detail feels just right.
Choosing Fabrics & Trims
Soft lace, delicate ribbons, textured fabrics, tiny labels, buttons, and accessories…
Every material is carefully selected to match the feeling of each topiced collection before production begins. Put them together to see the result or change the elements.

Fittings & Sample Making
Before a design is ready, it goes through multiple fittings and sample versions. The patterns are made on computer software, and are reusable for future new design with change and adjustments.
Sewing in the Studio
Inside the sewing room, patterns become real garments. Each sample fabtics are cut with the patterns made in the previous step, carefully sewn, and improved before moving into the real production.

Every Little Detail
Even the smallest details matter. From custom woven labels to branded trims and accessories. For each collection, Miya designed a new cloth tag for matching the new collection's theme.

Rose Island x Peiliee Warehouse
After production, every garment is organized and prepared before making its way to customers around the world. We use whiteboard for simple warehouse stock control. Each items has size and number of stock written on our storage room whiteboard to see how many stocks we have left, and if its time for a new batch of pre-orders to be open.

Peiliee × Rose Island
Our partnership goes far beyond selling beautiful clothing.
For years, we’ve worked closely with the Rose Island team, visiting the studio, sharing ideas, supporting new collections, and bringing their designs to our community worldwide.
Thank you for supporting independent designers and handmade fashion.
We can’t wait to show you what we’re creating together next. 🌷
