Character Match — The Helmsman of the Silent Mary

The captain survived the fire, but she did not return whole.

Her uniform split open like the broken hull of the Silent Mary. Beneath it, pale fragments of lace appeared like exposed ribs. Chains crossed her body where ceremonial decorations once rested, while the pointed velvet panels opened outward like the jaws of a wrecked ship.

She is still the one holding the wheel—but part of her has already become the vessel itself.

Story:

A highly structured Gothic corset created for The Helmsman of the Silent Mary, the pirate captain of the Last Gift of the Dead collection.

Purple patterned velvet is combined with distressed grey jacquard, sculpted cups and twelve internal boning channels. The fitted structure reshapes the torso while the adjustable ribbon lacing at the back allows the bust and waist to be tightened within the listed measurement range.

Styling Suggestions

Pair it with the matching Silent Mary Irregular Layered Tulle Skirt, Pirate Captain Hat, long black gloves and layered Gothic jewellery for the complete Helmsman look.

It can also be styled separately with black trousers, a long fishtail skirt or distressed layered tulle for pirate, vampire, dark cabaret, Gothic stagewear and Halloween outfits.

The matching irregular skirt, pirate hat, gloves and other styling accessories are not included unless purchased separately.
