Created for the Drowned Countess, this structured gothic corset top recreates the dark elegance of an aristocratic gown lost beneath the sea with this collection’s theme.
Deep purple patterned velvet forms the body of the top, while grey printed panels, layered lace and ribbon lacing create an antique, timeworn appearance. The fitted fishbone-inspired structure defines the waist and gives the front a dramatic corset silhouette.
The square neckline is framed with gathered velvet and grey lace, while bows at the shoulders add a romantic Victorian finish. Layered cuffs combine printed fabric, lace and pleated mesh for a theatrical shape.
Detachable Sleeves
The sleeves can be removed, allowing the top to be worn in two different ways:
- Wear it with the sleeves for a complete Victorian Countess look.
- Remove the sleeves for a lighter corset-style outfit suitable for parties, gothic coordinates and warmer weather.
Designed to match the Drowned Countess layered skirt, curtain overskirt and petticoat support from the same collection.
The skirt, petticoat, necklace, headwear, cape and other accessories shown in the styling photographs are not included.
Optional Velvet Necklace
The matching velvet necklace measures approximately 116 cm / 45.67 inches in total length. It is not included with the corset top unless selected or purchased separately.
Care Instructions
- Remove the detachable sleeves and decorative accessories before washing.
- Gentle hand washing or professional dry cleaning is recommended.
- Wash dark-colored garments separately.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not soak for a long time.
- Hang dry away from direct sunlight.
- Steam gently at a low temperature.
- Avoid pulling the lace, ribbons and decorative trims.
