Character Match — The Chandelier Dancer

After the Silent Mary sank, the chandelier disappeared from the ceiling of its grand hall.

Years later, sailors began seeing a woman dancing alone on the deck. Black butterflies circled her body, following the last traces of light left inside the ship. With every step, crystals moved across her velvet corset like droplets falling from an abandoned chandelier.

No one remembered her name.

They only knew that wherever the butterflies appeared, the Chandelier Dancer would soon follow.

Story: 

A sculptural Gothic corset designed for The Chandelier Dancer, the moonlight ghost who still moves across the deck of the Silent Mary.

The centre of the corset is made from deep-purple patterned velvet, framed by distressed grey panels and soft velvet binding. At the neckline, layers of grey and purple tulle are gathered into soft sculptural folds.

Black bead chains fall across the front in different lengths, finished with faceted teardrop pendants that move and catch the light as the wearer walks. A hand-beaded floral ornament decorates one side of the hem, while the irregular pointed panels resemble the divided wings of a dark butterfly.

Butterfly Necklace

The matching necklace is created with an internal wire that can be gently bent and shaped around the neck and shoulders.

Three-dimensional handmade butterflies in different sizes are placed along the ribbon, with black teardrop pendants suspended from both ends. The flexible structure allows you to adjust the necklace into different curved and asymmetrical shapes.

Shape the wire gently and avoid repeatedly bending the same area, as excessive bending may weaken the internal structure.

Styling Suggestions

Pair it with the Silent Mary Spirit Lantern Chandelier Skirt and black lace cape to complete the Chandelier Dancer look.

The corset can also be worn separately with a long velvet skirt, layered tulle, fitted trousers or a dramatic bustle skirt for Gothic balls, vampire styling, dark cabaret, Halloween events and fantasy photography.

The chandelier skirt, cape, gloves, headpiece and other styling accessories are not included unless purchased separately.

Care Instructions

Due to the boning, beadwork and three-dimensional decorations, professional dry cleaning is recommended.

• Do not iron directly over the velvet, tulle, beadwork or binding
• Avoid catching the beads and chains on sharp objects
• Store carefully to protect the sculpted neckline and boning
