Rising above layers of black lace, faded purple flowers and mourning feathers, a miniature version of the lost vessel rests upon her head. It is no longer simply a ship—it has become a monument to the night she drowned.

Years later, the ship appeared again—resting above the mourning veil of the Drowned Countess.
This heavily embellished gothic headpiece transforms the lost sailing ship into a wearable memorial. A detailed three-dimensional vessel rises from the structured hat base, surrounded by black faux feathers, handmade fabric flowers, purple lace and dark sparkling decorations.
Around the base, layered fabric flowers are decorated with beads and arranged beside the ship. Soft, overlapping petals contrast with the harder structure of the vessel, creating a richly textured silhouette. Long black faux feathers rise from one side like damaged sails still moving in the wind.
The hat base is covered with black lace and finished with sparkling rhinestone trim. A small silver-tone anchor pendant hangs from a fine chain along the outer edge, reinforcing the maritime theme.
Dramatic, sculptural and filled with dark romantic detail, this headpiece is designed for Victorian gothic styling, Halloween looks, festivals, cosplay, and stage costumes.
